As far back as I can remember, writing has always been my portal to other worlds—from reading everything I could get my hands on to penning my first short story, nothing has held as much power to me as the written word.
In my professional life, I’ve taken on a diverse array of projects, including copywriting, fiction, and journalism, as well as a recent foray into photography. From 2015 - 2018 I produced a popular live reading series for women (cis and trans) and non-binary people called Bleux Stockings Society with the goal of amplifying marginalized voices in the local writing community.
Curiosity is the fuel that moves me forward. I relish any opportunity to learn new skills and firmly believe each artistic endeavor is in the service of better writing, however seemingly unrelated. Whether it’s snapping a photo, sewing a shirt, or putting pen to paper, I am always on a quest to keep my creative cup full and thriving.
