As far back as I can remember, writing has always been my portal to other worlds—from reading everything I could get my hands on to penning my first short story, nothing has ever held as much power to me as the written word.
In my professional life, I’ve taken on a diverse array of projects, including copywriting, fiction, and journalism, as well as a recent foray into photography. From 2015 - 2018 I produced a popular live reading series for women (cis and trans) and non-binary people called Bleux Stockings Society with the goal of amplifying marginalized voices in the local writing community.
Curiosity is the fuel that moves me forward; I relish any opportunity to learn new skills and firmly believe each artistic endeavor is in the service of better writing, however seemingly unrelated. Whether it’s snapping a photo, sewing a shirt, or putting pen to paper, I am always on a quest to keep my creative cup full and thriving.
