DAD’S GARAGE PRESENTS “INVASION: CHRISTMAS CAROL”:
The classic Dickensian tale gets a wacky twist in this yuletide favorite from Dad’s Garage!
ATLANTA (OCTOBER 22, 2024) – Dad’s Garage is excited to announce the return of Invasion: Christmas Carol for the 2024 holiday season! In this zany interpretation of the beloved Christmas tale, Ebenezer Scrooge and his cohorts are surprised not only by a trio of ghosts, but also a new, madcap guest character in each performance! (Past invaders include The Little Mermaid’s Ursula the sea witch, The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Thanos, William Shakespeare, and Macho Man Randy Savage!) The award-winning Dad’s Garage ensemble must keep calm and carry on, contend with their unpredictable nightly visitor and finish the familiar story despite the hilarious detours. As Encore Atlanta aptly noted, “Dickens & Dad’s? God help us, everyone.” Join us as we kick classic theatre in the tookus with another uproarious year of Invasion: Christmas Carol!
Invasion: Christmas Carol is a Dad’s Garage original spectacle, directed by Rueben Medina.
Theme nights include Pride night (December 6) and Hanukkah night (December 27). There will also be an ASL interpreted performance on December 12. Family Friendly Matinees are on Saturdays, including December 7, 14, 21, as well as on Sunday, December 28.
Members of the press are invited to attend Invasion: Christmas Carol on Saturday, November 30, 2024. Please contact Communications Manager, Ames Doyle, to reserve your seat at Ames@DadsGarage.com.
